Ah! I think this will work out fine. If you can browse to
folders you probably can also browse to files within the
folders. I assume what you do is look for, let's say, Folder
#1 on Drive C: and Folder #1 on Drive F: (that would be my
"removable drive," the flash drive where I keep the
backups). It doesn't sound at all complicated.

I already have the Synctoy installation file on my desktop.
All I need to do now is follow the Wizard (to the city of
Oz?) What concerned me was that Microsoft identified this
program as designed for Vista. But I have XP. Typical
Microsoft confusion. Have you ever tried to read one of
their Knowledge Base essays? Awful!

I hadn't thought of identifying ny folders by date. Is this
really that useful? Windows gives you a date every time you
click on a folder. Isn't that sufficient?
