Walter I have it on both Vista and on XP it test and it works just fine. The
web site say's as much. The left or from folder is always KA the source, the
right or to folder is always KA the target.

As Walter say's the file always has the date if you look at details listing.
I prefer a subject naming.

Ah! I think this will work out fine. If you can browse to
folders you probably can also browse to files within the
folders. I assume what you do is look for, let's say, Folder
#1 on Drive C: and Folder #1 on Drive F: (that would be my
"removable drive," the flash drive where I keep the
backups). It doesn't sound at all complicated.

I already have the Synctoy installation file on my desktop.
All I need to do now is follow the Wizard (to the city of
Oz?) What concerned me was that Microsoft identified this
program as designed for Vista. But I have XP. Typical
Microsoft confusion. Have you ever tried to read one of
their Knowledge Base essays? Awful!

I hadn't thought of identifying ny folders by date. Is this
really that useful? Windows gives you a date every time you
click on a folder. Isn't that sufficient?
