Hi Payal,
Apology for delay in responding to you.
After reading your ordeal in this platform; I was absolutely furious.
I did reach out to someone in top management of Indigo and requested
explaination. I also told them that this is not acceptable what payal
experienced.
Being victim of airlines discrimination in the past; felt horrible
when i was not allowed to board the flight on account of my blindness
and traveling alone, felt miserable when I was treated very badly by
airline loader and many more. Yes, I also did complain to DGCA and I
along with Jeeja Ghosh did do workshop in colaboration with DGCA on
sensitizing disability affairs to all top management of airlines in
2013 with hopes of easing life of passenger with disability. Sadly
these type of incidents kept on popping up mainly because of some
staff who is not sensitive.

Yes, I still stand by my statement that in era of highly insensitivity
; our blind community have very few sensitive echo-system who really
goes out of their way to care for us. In my opinion; Indigo and
vistara so far has demonstrated empathy towards blind community. Yes
at the end of the day we are all human beings and I am sure inspite of
their best intention; they will make mistake.
I wish you all the best with your battle and please feel free to get
in touch with me offline and happy to chat up and provide support in
case if you require my assistance.
Thanks and regards
Asif
