I really liked the Ext grid paging demo at http://extjs.com/deploy/ext/examples/grid/paging.html
so I decided to integrate it into an existing project.
I think it took me about 3 days to get my head around the 'data store'
concepts and json. Also I had to tweak Aparajita's json library to
work with the paging code (I will add it to the wiki as soon as I get
time :). But I did get it to work and the customer really likes it.
Also the message box parts are quite easy to implement into existing
projects:
http://extjs.com/deploy/ext/examples/dialog/msg-box.html
So rather than trying to get into Ext with a 'baptism of fire' I'd
recommend just pulling out parts you like and integrating them into
your current projects. It worked for me.
James.
