Our leave policy practices depend on the employment classification and the
relevant contract, of which there are 7.  For Administrative Professional
Staff, various leaves are described here:

  This is the only non-union group, so it is the easiest to access.  The
manual covers sick, FMLA, bereavement, Jury and other leave options.

Our Student Employment policy is posted here:
https://wwwp.oakland.edu/policies/students/1170/  It is administered
through our Financial Aid office, and they need to be very involved if you
process federal financial aid.

We do not have a policy for volunteers, but we do have a legal agreement
that must be completed:
