Bob:

Historically, I have only had around twenty percent of hires that had
a good work ethic. I hire the good ones and the bad ones and have a
difficult time determining which ones will be able to work without
very close supervision. So, I have learned one thing, I'm not very
good at hiring. Document everything closely and do regular
evaluations. Threaten to let the bad ones go and give them specifics
in writing. The flip side of things is that I make sure that I pay
the good ones accordingly.

I use to teach anger management classes. Anger is a choice that you
are making. Up to you

You don't doom these folks if you are straight with them and give them
a chance. They determine their own fate, as you determine your own
reaction to their actions.

I'm going through lots of issues at my offices. I'm not always the
best with dealing with my employees, but I at least deal with them as
honestly as possible. None of it is fun, but it is what it is.

Good Luck..
