"With such a choice, lets choose the promotion of sunshine and
rainbows."

The illusion, or delusion of choice, perhaps. It seems like a few
unexamined assumptions.

Who is doing the choosing, and who/what is the power behind sunshine
and rainbows, or dark clouds and thunder?

Whatever the dream character chooses, ultimately there must be an
acceptance that the dream character is not in control of the outcome
of the dream events. The dream, no matter how much the character wants
it to be so, is not always cupcakes and rainbows.

Radiance in, or illumination of the Illusion is more a matter of that
(Sahaja) natural sponanteous radiance of Self-knowledge than choosing
or willing to bring light into the world. In that radiance that
illumines Illusion, that brilliance engulfs false notions and
identifications to the point of what can be said of, or pointed to as
being Illusion? Does the Sun know shadows, other than possibly the
knowing that it is the illuminator of them?
