No need to forget, as no need to remember either. If apperception is not immediate, it is a baloney sandwich. That, which needs time to understand, that which develops in time, that which stabilizes in time, that which deepens in time... ....no matter how profound it's dimensions.... ...is a mere projection of the notion(as thought) that stuff happens...... .....such a notion itself being a projection of the primary notion that duration is a reality, that time is a reality, ....that change is a reality.. ..(stuff happening is just the belief of the stuffing changing, otherwise no event could ever be cognized as an event)) ..... thereby that comparison is a possibility. Even the term "immediate" depends for its existence as contratsed with the term "duration" and thus arises only within the sense of something as time. Just like there is nothing as a "now" which can exist other than as a contrast to a "then". Just like there is nothing as a "here" which can exist other than as a contrast to a "there". That immediacy which is not the opposite of "time-dependancy"; That now which is not the opposite of then; That here which is not the opposite of there; .........signatures on flowing waters.
