We're about to go live on a GPON fiber deployment where we were looking
to use their OLTs, but every OLT that we have tried (3 brand new units)

reboot. This is on the newest firmware.
Their e-mail tech support asks a question and then takes hours to reply
- it's been days without much progress. I am not asking for super-fast
support, but we'd like someone who can look at our case more than twice
a day.
Forums or email really. Otherwise consider other vendors and factor in
what their support options are if it's something critical enough where
you might need more support options than forums or email.
