If it’s definitely on the wireless side and not an ethernet issue (duplex 
mismatch, CRC errors, etc) then yeah I’d agree.  

 

Congestion could do it too, but that would be fairly obvious if it was the case.

We picked up a project for the Ft. Bliss Water which also handles McGregor and 
Dona Ana Ranges...

Using MDS 900Mhz FHSS radios at 125kbps...ping times to all points, even 
through repeaters 1-2ms pings average..when pulling data from PLCs...they hit 
2-4ms but then return to 1-2...

Have a 16.5 miles ptp 5GHz link with excellent signal and noise floor...pings 
are 6-450ms and never below 6! Using 40Mhz wide channel...

What do you think is issue? Interference in the band?
