Hello,

If you are going to use a third party antenna in a sync configuration (e.g.
ABAB), please try to find an antenna that has similar front to back ratio
performance to what Cambium sells so that you do not increase self-interference
from the sector located in back.

I have one sitting here, that I haven't gotten put up yet. It's the same design
as the ePMP sectors but it's quite a bit shorter. If I remember right (since
I'm too lazy to look up the specs...), the RF elements is a bit higher gain
that the Cambium, but I think it's something like 100 degree beamwidth vs.
120... I'm not sure how the ePMP 90 degree compares, since I don't have one.
The mounting hardware is the exact same design as the Cambium sector, but the
RF elements appears to be cast aluminum or something of the sort and feels
flimsier. I thought it was kind of funny that there's a Cambium logo on the
back of it.. they obviously share some parts.

I think it's the same rough design with the RF Elements ones being slightly
"better".

I think those are the ePMP sectors?

I'm considering the RF Elements "Carrier Class" 5GHz 17dBi and 2.4 GHz 14dBi

Any positive experience with these? I need some relatively small sectors (in
the <2' height range). I like the visual simplicity and low cost of the older
RF Elements "MiMo Sectors" but I wonder if their new versions perform
significantly better.
