It’s that exact reason we don’t accept ACH for reinstating service on deactivated accounts. We either want a credit card, where we get an instant approval, cash, or a physical check (because check fraud is a crime that county prosecutors in our area will take up for us if the customer doesn’t make good on it, whereas giving an incorrect routing or account number is an unpunishable mistake).

The bank doesn’t charge them because they made up the account in the first place, but we still get the $10 fee from the bank. Not only did they not pay the bill, they cost us fees. There is a whole list of people we won’t accept EFT’s from anymore. We do card transactions daily. If I try to compare Powercode's transaction list to Chase my eyes would get dizzy, especially if you throw in delayed transactions from some days. IPPay will get an approval from the bank and give your system the approval, but if the funds are NSF on the day they draw the transaction will reverse. There is no mechanism for IPPay to report that via their API so it is up to the end user to check their IPPay report. Just an idea. There are functions for doing that within Platypus, I just haven’t used them in years ☺ Maybe I’m not so concerned about that as much as I’m wondering if the IPPay fees, and merchant fees are on par with the rate I think I’m supposed to be getting.
