The facts are Google has billions of dollars and hasn't done anything for the real world in years. Kurzweil is just there for a pay check. Google is really just a popularity algorithm that just spits out something with ads attached. As unsophisticated and immature as a San Francisco cultural event. When you go into the Google offices, it looks like a kindergarten. That's because the work they do is mostly childish and stupid. There are low chairs in bright primary colors, toys everywhere. The Googlers appear to be naive and friendly smart little people...
Search results? aha, you are oblivious ignorant of the coming web of data based on RDF/OWL tech. Machines will be interpreting wishes, intentions, moods or desires. Moreover, this isn't some far off tech like AGI. It's happening right now!! Google has good 2 years before everything starts to fail apart for them.
