Have you tried orienting it in pad mode and trying to monitor flight? If
you have a 70 cm radio, you could listen for the tones. (It's likely
someone at the launch will have the right radio gear if you don't.)

I know you're flying tomorrow, so worst case, you could just configure it
over USB and fly it without the benefit of live telemetry.
