*I* do, as a user of a current version of AmIRC, but there are --
as has been said here over and over and over, since some people
seem to insist on REFUSING to see the point -- other IRC clients
that *DO NOT* have the ability to filter this stuff out. I'm not
saying you can't use color codes, but to utterly evade the
responsibility for using them is just completely selfish. The
fact that DalNET has gone to the length of adding a
color-stripping channel mode should *tell* you something about
the degree to which this stuff is being abused.
At risk of stating what should have been obvious, I was using
"we" to describe *everyone on IRC who might have to deal with
this*, not just the community using AmIRC.
