Lots of cool 3D games are on phones now, but good luck finding a phone under 200 USD fast enough for good game play. It's like looking at a perfect image with someone scratching a chalk board. Even the early arcade boxes in the up to the 80's had 5-7 fps for most arcade games, but 1-2 is just not fun.
So while the 3d games look nice they have the game play value of 0 unless you have a good phone. While even Asteroids today still has some game play value even though it is not nice visually. Before the contest is over I will have >11 fps with minimal options and 5 with all options and be ready for publication on anything as fast as the emulator. While my 3d competitors are stuck at 2 fps on most phones even today.
