The problem with even trying to address negative comments in your app is that the usual "Sucks, uninstall" comments have no reasonable response, plus they've uninstalled the app. Personally, I think the best tactic is to read your comments regularly and respond directly in the market so your comment shows above the complainer. That way, those that are considering the app will see your answer, will see that you're proactive and will see what you have made as a suggestion to the sourpuss.
Has anyone noticed that the game "P*cket Emp*re" (redacted for sanity sake) is no longer on the market and the users have stopped spamming other apps with their silly codes?
