And they are not necessarily the most recent comments either. On the 20th I got a 5 star which isn't showing and they do show the 2 star from the 24th by someone who didn't understand how to use the program and hence thought it was buggy. That person even sent me an email and I explained to them what they probably did wrong. They also requested a refund but then they canceled within 15 minutes so they were never charged. This raises another problem with the 15 minute limit as a few months back I had someone contact with the same problem and since they had a day to cancel were able to see the mistake they made and even gave me a 5 star rating (while bashing people who thought the program was buggy).

The other problem is if you grant a refund after 15 minutes how do you know that Google has turned off the license if you're using LVL? Wonder if they even thought about that one? Hence I'm not granting refunds for these latte priced apps.

Good point.

Would be better if they showed the ratings in a similar style to Amazon
where you can quickly see the highest ratings and lowest ratings separately
(or something like that).

I'm affraid that this is knavishness from competitors (some people are
updating their comments to be on the top). It makes me crazy and I
would like to have some chance to at least comment these stupid
comments.
I fear this is even more damaging now since only 3 comments are shown
by default. If the first couple of comments aren't great, will people
bother to click 'More' ?
