Thanks for the heads-up, so with tags <sarcasm>Let me fix that for you. All they have to do is dust off that pitch from two years ago. How mobile web apps in HTML5 are the future in mobile and such. That should be enough to hold you over a few more years. </sarcasm> Reading into your state of mind, I'd highly recommend you don't attend. If you want a positive push out of a conference, there are waymore stimulating ones out there than Google I/O, like a.re. I went to I/O two years ago and it was pretty shallow and there are no signs this is any different now. I posted about it on this list. And as far as keeping up with things is concerned I just watch the presentations on video afterward, at my leisure. And yeah the food totally sucked. Good to strike up sometimes interesting, but essentially meaningless conversations.
