Food at conferences is always lousy so this is just an underhanded insult. Recognizing swag is good show etiquette. On topic though, so long there's interesting stuff (in contrast to fluff announcements) and authoritative presenters (in contrast to folk that punt every other interesting question) I know where I spend my time.
