I got the email yesterday asking for permission to do the Free App of the day thing. I think I may pass however - if you look at reviewers on Amazon, they are a bunch of whiners. Look at any of the Free app of the days and check their reviews. It's almost impossible to get higher than 3.5 to 4 stars. My theory is something I call "reporting bias", in which only negative consumers ever bother to file a review....so not sure giving app away for free is really ever going to give you "good reviews", etc, as insinuated in the permission email.
