Vi kompreneble ne povas dependi de Guglo por tradukoj, kaj pro tio vi
serĉas aliajn solvojn.

Vi devas kompreni ke la sola lingvoparo kiu tradukas *de* Esperanto estas
Esperanto->angla, kaj ĝi faras tion tre malbone kompare kun la aliaj paroj.
Tre malmulte da laboro estis investita en tiu direkto, kaj pro tio venas
strangaĵojn kiel entreprenisto->contractor.



If I understand correctly, it seems to be about MT for an open source
social networking engine. Of course they cant depend on Google for
translations and are looking elsewhere. And of course direct translation
would be preferable, compared to using a bridge language, but it seems its
OK with them and they know translation quality will be degraded.

And, probably it will be degraded less with Esperanto as bridge language
than with English, no ?

Fran: Quality of eo->en is not good, we all know that, and if someone took
some time to improve the pair we wouldnt have horros like
entreprenisto->contractor. I'd love a GSoC student doing that. A bigger
obstacle is that we have only one pair going *from* Esperanto.
