Yes, leaving out Russian would be a bit of a mistake. Regarding the "collaborative environment for those who wish to contribute to the Apertium project". Please do not start this until you have a good idea of how Apertium works. It is really quite a complex task (I tried, and after 3 months mostly failed to make a simple interface to add words to dictionaries). We had a GSOC student who did the same. > Stage 2.
