User Purington:
Use the comports program and load it prior to running Arachne. It works. It
eliminated precisely the problem you have.  Once you've done this, in terminal
mode you may want to try entering username and password as prompted by your
ISP. Whatever your next prompt is, try typing in " PPP default" (may be case
sensitive) and when you start getting lines of gibberish, hit F7 and you're
on!  I can empathize with getting "Packet Driver Down", and my connection was
long-distance to boot!      BTW, anyone know how to make the pointer arrow
bigger and/or more brightly colored (for aged parents) in 1.50 src?
