And AFAIK it supports the biggest cache of them all (ca 36.5MB with the
version you used).
Also are you sure the read ahead buffer was equally large on all of them?
(And can you perhaps point me to where I can get this program or send it to
me so I can try and optimize my own settings?)

Hmm... it does? Well since I most (read: all) of the time don't see that
bar I didn't know that.
