Yes, I agree. I went to www.motorola.com looking for a user manual 
for an older bag style cell phone I have and they have downloadable 
manuals, but the page requires Javascript. I tried it with NS 4.08 
for Win3.xx and got 2 consistent error messages at the same point on 
the page. Even selecting to ignore the error, I was unable to access 
the manuals since 2 of the pull down menu items did not show any 
choices. I tried it with IE 3.01 (Win3.x) and while I did not get any 
error messages, I was unable to access the manual selection menus 
with it either. Badly written Javascript?
