Howard,

Lynx386 is Linux. I'm talking DOS here.

And I don't "need a www browser" for Usenet ... but I *DO* need software
which will allow me to access Usenet via LAN.

Since Michael says he plans on setting up Usenet access 'one of these
days' for Arachne, I'm reminding him that if he would it would then be
the ONLY DOS-based software I've been able to find which would hook to
Usenet via LAN connection [in my case 'cable modem'].

And I *can* use a www browser for Usenet, *IF* I want to struggle with
deja ... which I have done twice and haven't liked one little bit
because people simply are too lazy to reply via e-mail even when you
specifically state you can't follow the ng so please reply to l dot d
DOT best AT go-concepts PERIOD com

I did say DOS in my original message, didn't I? A couple of times? And
Bobcat doesn't [according to the website I visited] support ng access.

l.d.
