Oddly enough, the hyjackers participating in the recent attacks did
exactly that and more. They used their own real names to buy plane
tickets, rent cars, apartments, hotel rooms. They made no effort
whatsoever to disguise their identities. They left phone records,
credit card statements, phone bills. 

They enrolled at commercial flight schools in the United States
using valid identification. 

About the only thing they hid, was their purpose.
