It's possible that we are hyper-sensitive right now to possible critical
concerns from elsewhere.

No need to apologize for expressing your point of view. The United
States does need to listen better and hear more clearly.

To my American ears Bush has seemed restrained and measured in his
comments thus far. Please notice that the United States has not
taken any reactive military action as of yet. Obviously careful
planning and consideration is being given as to what actions to
take.

George W. Bush, like his father, is not gifted with words. Left
to his own devices he can tie himself into knots of incomprehension.
What is coming across to me though, is his determination to take
effective action.

Let me add, just as a matter of perspective, that I have not been
an admirer of Bush's politics and posistions. I've never voted for
the Republican candidate for President. 

But the current struggle for most Americans transcends politics.
