Usually you have the default of 0,, which means no license for you !
I was thinking if you even made that 1 which is a read license.. it might
show you something you did not see before..
but It is clear in the Logs, that a 21 second delay is pretty heavy on the
ldap connection, then immediately it is pounded by bind..
bind is either timed out, or the network did not go clean and the individual
login failed.
you can possibly put in 2 different binds..

Is this ars ? version ? again..
Oh wait, there are 5 fixed external authentication issues within ARS 6.3..
Even patch 14 has a bug.. Wish they would give a patch number - but support
site does not..
So I would recommend a patch...
I suppose I would consider upgrading a patch or 2..

I don't know what you mean regarding my config about floating licenses. I
have 20 floating, and I had 19 in use. We have another 100 fixed, and 62
of those are in use. I had around 24 Read licenses in use as well.

What is the default to set for not found 2?

We do have read licensed only users.

During the last issue when this existed, I did use my Fixed user with a
Remedy password (as opposed to an LDAP password) and that user also got
the
error/hung on logon.

I am willing to try almost anything.

Thanks for the reply.
