You keep going back to your comparison of WAV/FLAC with clock drift, you need to completely ignore those results, they were completely flawed. All they show is your test approach was broken. Phil's tests with a synced clock clearly show that any differences been the WAV/FLAC playback, even if they exist at all, are incredibly, incredibly tiny.
