You are rigth, And we were already there, IF you could lock the AD and
DA clocks, OR both are as closed as possibe to 44.100 Hz.

SO, I think nobody would say is not true that:

1. FLAC and WAV are BIT PERFECT.
2. THE PLAYBAC (DIGITAL) is BIT PERFECT until the SPDIF OUT.

To prove this is VERY symple.

3. Also the ANALOG PLAYBACK has no or very little differencs if you are
using a "perfect" clock (or you could lock the AD and DA).

I could not test myself, but no matter is based on evidences that Phil
produced and I belive for sure.

4. In Analog Playback (only the DA is involde here, so no possibility
to lock any other clock) difference are bigger and you can eard at them,
even with the same source file with no transcoding at all.

I've tested this, Phil too and both agree ARE audible, very simple to
replicate.

Until this point statistics is not involved at all, is just a matter of
measuring and comparing, do we agree on this?

If I'm wrong please correct me, I think could be of general interst.
