Please point me to one high end transport that uses asynchronous USB. I
repeat, when using a computer with only a USB output to play  digital
audio then asynchronous USB is clearly needed otherwise it's just
another high end snow job like the "interface induced
jitter/error-discussion" since NO ONE regardless of playback system can
ever hear the interface induced jitter in S/PDIF. But hey, there are
plenty of high priced digital audio cables, by they optical, coax or
USB, that promise to clean up jitter.
