Please explain exactly how I am misinformed about the Panasonic and the
Tact. I am assuming that the Panasonic is some kind of home theater
receiver and that the Tact is as stated in your signature, i.e. TACT
Digital Integrated Amp. So let's start there.

As for jitter, let's say that I am in the business of manufacturing and
selling high end audio equipment. It is most definitely in my best
interests to make up a dragon (jitter) and then a sell a product which
slays the dragon. Some things one can measure but not hear and other
things one can hear but not measure. Jitter is something that is very
easy to measure but very difficult (impossible actually, at least for
normal humans) to hear.
