Higher authority in high end :) is there such a thing ,I know there
actually are a tiny minority of knowledgeable people .

But sometimes we have to quote "experts" in fact no one can know
everything so we must choose authority in many questions , but the sad
state of high end audio is that there probably is a 99% chance to have
crackpot advice .
I feel a little bit sorry for the very non technical that only wants a
good stereo but get a bunch if colourful cables a and tall stories at
the audio shop ..

If you know nothing about EE at all just think that why are all these
things limited to audio only (they would revolutionise electrical
engineering and physics )? and why can people that listen to appalling
music from stockfish (or insert any other audiophile label ) and on top
of that with highly distorting systems that barely can drive speakers
(set amps ) hear it .
