Ah, yes -- But what causes the brain failure?
I know at least one pilot who was diagnosed with hypoglycemia during
a medical. An accident caused by the onset of symptoms in the air could
easily be put down to "brain failure" without the blood sugar imbalance
which lead to the failure ever being discovered.
How many undiagnosed diabetics do you think there are in our aging
pilot population?
"Brain failure". Harumph.
