As per previous post my main concern is Sports Class handicaps, given the 
extension of Club Class coverage over recent years.

Given the handicaps Sports class risks becoming an LS8 18m class, from what I 
saw at Benalla last year, noting that from my perspective there is nothing 
wrong with that :-)

Now that older STD and 15m ships are in Club Class and can compete on 
reasonably equal grounds we need to ask what is Sports class there for and how 
do you optimize involvement of older Gliders, in particular the orphans in the 
current system which are the older 19/20m Open class.

On that note will leave to the handicaps committee to look at these handicaps 
in light of the reality of flying these gliders dry in a typical Australian 
comp day against modern gliders.
