hi , As Mark noted we have a long change cycle for major revisions, with technical corrigenda that can make corrections during that cycle, and interpretations that can flag issues and ambiguities and allow additional behaviours in the interim.
See http://www.opengroup.org/austin/docs/austin_sd6.txt and http://www.opengroup.org/austin/docs/austin_164.pdf (the latter is a little dated but shows the flow). Changes in major revisions may break application usage, hence the long cycle, and the flagging of issues over a long period. regards Andrew > On 5 Sep 2016, at 23:03, Shware Systems <shwares...@aol.com> wrote: > > That change is tagged > for Issue 8, as one of the many To Do items for when work on that formally > commences.
