Hi Rob the name is a string "spy_red" nothing special . Are you sure it is not 
the parser problem because in the previous version before 3.6 it worked fine . 
However Obj.parseGeometry method doesn't work even in 3.5 . I checked the mtl 
and it looks like it loads fine . Can I send you in the evening the files obj + 
it's mtl . Have you tested these methods with your files ?
