the whole model as you see above should be added separately and doesnt represent the tree ... the tree in my case exists of a big cube ... so i want to add the 4 planes separately as awd ... is this practicable?
i dont believe in the scaling error because everytime i model with excact coordinates and straight values ... no rounding errors can occour i think, but for the future i will try to modell with values multiplied with 10 so i dont have to scale anything in prefab. please, if you find 10 minutes again try to build my example without clipping errors by your own ... i think this would help me more than everything you can explain ... of course then i will hit the "pay us beer" - button, i discovered today ^^ On 8 Feb., 12:15, Fabrice3D <[email protected]> wrote: > > yes i am running the latest trunk, but as you see the problem is > > pictured in prefab, t > > in Prefab you run in basic sorter. if you set to correctz order, it will be > rendered ok. > bsp handles meshes otherway. if you render this cube and plane and preview it > in prefab, you will see. > I notice here that your model cube + plane is very small, it is a good idea > to work at bigger scale to prevent > rounding errors... > > > no the base of this plane isnt excactly aligned to the y of the tree > > floor, but why should it be? what if i want to have a free flying > > plane object? > > you can do as you please of course, but in tree if the object is having > vertices values found to be outside the tree bounds > you will get unespected results.
