Dave, Do you know if Velma had any female siblings or cousins? My aunt Maria E V Sousa was Secretary of the Hanford chapter of the SPRSI (a Portuguese women's society) from the mid- teens until shortly before her death in the late 50's. I have a couple of her minutes books, one coverng the period of April 1934 to June 1941.In it I see references to a Maria L. Cotta, Lille Cotta, Guilhermina Cotta, Palmira Cotta, Ilda Cotta.
