Hi all! Thanks so much! Yes, Carrie is my sister and Bob is my father, but this family history was always a mystery until recently ... the 1896 Ellis Island information mentioned above is something that I haven't seen, though it's someplace to look, definitely!
Thank you for sharing the UPEC information - there is so much that I don't know!! Alex was in Sausalito in 1910 - they had my grandfather in 1909. I submitted a request for my grandfather, Edward's birth record from Marin County, and received a "File Not Found" response. I will try San Francisco, because I would really like to have that ... The church where he was baptized, Star of the Sea Church in Sausalito, told me to go in person and I can look at the books, but they don't have the resources to look up genealogy requests. :-/ Can't wait to meet all of you in SLC - I bought my plane ticket and have my room reserved! Sending the check for the registration on Monday. Thanks again! - Eric On Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:54:33 PM UTC-7, rcapodc wrote: > > Marilyn, this sounds like they could all be relatives of Eric's.
