I used authenticated writes a little more than you do, but not a whole lot more; but yes, I do use the command line tools all the time. However, as I recall you CAN download and install the command line tools with the MAS version. $ file /usr/local/bin/bbedit /usr/local/bin/bbedit: symbolic link to `…/BBEdit.app/Contents/Helpers/bbedit_tool’ Yep, here’s the link from the FAQ: <http://www.barebones.com/support/bbedit/cmd-line-tools.html> -- Worlds of belief, she [Susan] thought.
