To fix the font size issue on Linux, is to adjust the passed value for the font size by 4%3.
It is demonstrated with fontsize.ijs program at http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/System/Beta/Font_Size If you select the Adjust check box on Linux, then the screenshot from Linux will exactly match the rest of the platforms. Note: the Quality selection operates of font sizes twice as large, so it also proves consistency with geometry for the larger scale (up to 40pt).
