Well,

As some others mentioned, the 3 you have verse the list in question is
a pretty big leap.

I would avoid T&E for now, it has direct conflict, and some
interesting complexities. i made the mistake of introducing it too
early to my group and even some 3 years later they are still anti.

i think puerto rico is a good next step, it's a great game and plays
quickly. incan gold is def a fun little game, it's more of filler and
plays better with a lot of players(if that's ur group...then booyaa).
Arkham Horror is very very long.

My suggestions:

Thebes: Fun, quick euro, it has some luck, but is questionably the
best themed eurogame.
Pandemic: Fun co-op game, good for when the losers go sore.
Kingsburg: Good euro, that has a lot of classic Euro qualities all in
one easy to learn/play package.
