Sorry, this questions triggers me to ask why Tiger was ditched. I did not understand that and I am not happy about ditching Tiger, since most of the machines in my group continue using Tiger. Tiger is the only OS X that allows to run native Classic, and we still need it for some of our key modeling and simulation software. Therefore, as differences between BibDesk 3.22 (last running under Tiger) and the more recent developments increase, I am bit concerned that there might come a point where the .bib file format and the functionality of BibDesk deviate so much, that I can't use the same .bib file under Tiger and the most recent OS X. Any philosophy on those upward compatibility issues? Is it really not possible to drag Tiger along?
