Thomas,

I'm not sure of what stone sound you're thinking of using, but for some
reason, I could never get into the one he used. The one I'm thinking of is
the one at the top of level one of the demo--the place with the white key
and the acid pits. It just sounded ... odd.
The rest of it sounds like a great idea, though.

Yours Sincerely,
Ryan

Subject: audyssey: Monty audio environment.

Hi list,
I know that many of you do not want me to make huge changes in the game.
However, in the area of environmental effects and realism I think I can
do that without spoiling the game play.
Here is some examples of what I am thinking about.
\We all know we are exploring several ancient temples. For most of the
temples James North used sand for the floors. However, it stands to
reason in my mind most of the temple flooring would be stone and not
sand. So what would you think of me converting the sand floor to stone?
Alternatively the flooring could be plane old dirt, but ledges,
platforms, etc could be stone. Which might make it more interesting for
better effect.
Another area I have been thinking about is the ladders. It stands to
reason since this is an ancient temple the ladders would be wooden in
nature and not metal. What would you guys think about me using wooden
ladders instead?
