Group,

I have been using AutoEnginuity's software w/BMW expansion to troubleshoot my
sister's '00 323i and have retrieved several non-OBD2 transmission related
codes.

This is great except I can not seem to find a table of these BMW codes to
reference. I have seen tables of the OBD2 P-codes but nothing else.

Can anyone lead me down the correct path?

Thanks,

Matt Weimer

Matt,

I don't know if this is the correct path, however I had some issues
with the Autoenginuity unit when I had E46 in that it read out codes
that do not exist in the BMW code database. I was getting a P7000
code which I searched high and low for on the internet, I spoke to my
local dealer mechanic, I even paid for http://www.bmwtis.com/ for a
day so that I could access their database directly and that code is
not a BMW code. My problem truned out to be that an aftermarket "cold
air intake" that I bought was allowing air to leak into the intake
after the MAFS, however it was impossible to determine that from the
Autoenginuity unit.

BTW, I did not and do not have the BMW expansion FWIW.

Regards

Jamie Howton
