Hi, Stacy,

That overwrite feature was nice if you needed or wanted to overwrite quite a bit at once, but you had to use it with care.

By the way, I still have my old Braille Lite as a back-up, to use only when my MPower is out for repair. Maybe some day I'll be interested in a Vice Note for the same purpose, but not now.

Hi Evelyn,
I never use the overwrite mode with my braillelite but I'd love to have the append mode as an option for the Braillenote and Voicenote.

Hi, Rhonda,

Well, the old Braille Lites, etc. had a continuous overwrite
command.
Sometimes that is handy just as I still want an append mode.

Hello Flor:

I am not sure why an overwrite command would be used. You can
use
Ctrl comma to delete a character, and then put the right letter
back
in. That's about the best way I know to do it.

Best Regards,
Rhonda Clark
