I am useing Erics. thermocouple adapter with a type T thermocouple in the 
location of the grouphead bolt. The temp there is about 4 degrees F higher 
than where the water actually hits the puck (or Scace). With a blind basket 
in, the hot water will be @ around 125 psi coming out of the hole. I don't 
think a deflector cap would work .
